HAWAII ROMANCE FESTIVAL: THE MOST ROMANTIC SONGS EVER WRITTEN PART II

Date: May 7, & 8, 2008

Place: Hawaii Theatre 1130 Bethel St. between Hotel and Pauahu The Matt Catingub Orchestra of Hawaii to Host 10-Day Celebration Harmonious melodies, divine dinners, and Hawaii – the ideal recipe for Romance. That’s what the Matt Catingub orchestra of Hawaii has cooked up with the 2008 Hawaii Romance Festival. The 10-day event, to be held from May 2 – 11, 2008 will celebrate some of the most romantic music ever written, performed by guest star entertainers from across the U.S. and the Islands

 

X-1 WORLD EVENTS “LEGENDS”

Egan Inoue, a former state middleweight mixed martial arts champion, is making a heralded return to the sport headlining X-1 World Events “Legends” card Friday May 16, 2008, at the Blaisdell Arena. 2007 DIAMOND HEAD CRATER CELEBRATION
Date: May 19
Time: Start 2:00 p.m.
Place: Diamond Head Crater, Honolulu
Earth, Wind & Fire, known for its funky blend of soul and blues will make Diamond Head Crater erupt with music as one of the featured attractions of the 2007 Celebration. 16TH ANNUAL FILIPINO FIESTA AND PARADE

Date: May 20

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Place: Monsarrat Ave. Waikiki

Celebrate the culture of the Philippines starting with a charity walk at 8:30 a.m. from Fort DeRussy to Kapiolani Park. Parade starts at 9 a.m. from DeRussy to Kapiolani Park along Kalakaua Ave and enjoy a day at Kapiolani Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with music, entertainment, food, arts and crafts and displays. SOME ENCHANTRESS EVENING

Place: Café Milano

A celebration of beauty, style, and fashion, is a fundraising event to benefit this year’s Honolulu Fashion Week Project.   Hosted by Cafe Milano and Emily Lopez, the event will be held on Saturday, May 31st at the newest trendy spot in town, Café Milano.  There will be food, live entertainment, and an exciting fashion show directed by Eric Chandler and Takeo of 2Couture featuring the latest fashions from local designers.
